Well really, if you saw my backyard.....
Don't know what I'm going to put here here. Hard do really do justice to these truly splendid creatures who go from awe-inspiring to just-plain-goofy in 3 seconds flat.
Here's a picture of a guy I just helped get out of jail in Yakima. I almost wrecked my car several times because he wanted to be in the front seat even & be petted even though we'd just met! And just when I think he's nothing but a big galumph, his picture turns out like this!
This is SUGAR SHAQ.
He needs a home, by the way!!
Would the younger members of your household benefit from a companion to watch over them...and who they can watch over? Check out Washington Alaskan Malamutes or PetShelter.

I'm SugarShaq. If you think I'm striking now, wait until I have my all-new silky coat in! ... Like his namesake, Shaq is a great big tall guy with long muscular legs & big snowshoe feet. He's so warm & loving that we wanted to call him SugarShack but that seemed a bit "sweet" for such a proud looker. He's strong but biddable. We could immediately take food out of his mouth and handle his paws; he liked to walk and ranged all over the car trying to sit on the front seat. He showed no interest in the cats at his foster home but was quite happily interested in all the other dogs. The first time we walked he jumped at cars; might have been looking for someone ... someone who at some time gave this guy the love he's still looking for. A fenced yard is a must! | ![]() |
