Samson was partially shaved by his owner; he looks like Samson after Delilah got to him! He was matted because they never brushed him and they left him full-time on a chain. He is also underweight - they apparently didn't think to feed him either - and needs some gentle, gradually increasing exercise. He doesn't seem to have very good muscle tone. However that doesn't stop him from playing and running full-speed in a yard with the other dogs!

Update October 2003: Samson has been adopted by his foster parents. He has been renamed Goliath, aka Gorgeous George, aka Growly Dog. He lives in Cle Elum Washington with 2 other permanent malamute and usually another foster as well. Goliath is learning to eat chicken.
